USMA Founders Day Dinner

I can tell you that the FFR team coordinates closely with the Graduate Society in sending out invitations to accepted and pending candidates. The intent is to invite candidates that already have an offer or very likely to get one. While we do our best to balance being inclusive and not missing candidates that will get an offer, it is still a prediction. Every year one or two candidates that we invited do not get in and we usually miss one or two that did get an offer. It is an imperfect process.

If you have the chance to go, I would. I met a few of my classmates at the Founders a Day dinner prior to Beast, and it also served as a good way for my mom to meet some parents from the area to form a support network even before the parents clubs started reaching out. It’s also fun getting to see some of the traditions you’re going to be a part of

This was how DS got notified of his appointment to West Point. We were not sure so I called the AFF, he confirmed then couple hours later, the senator called to congratulate him.

Interesting - My daughter also received an invitation, and her medical waiver was approved the same day. Still no news on the portal or in any other form as far as the appointment goes.

Looking forward to the event.
