At what point of the application process will I be contacted to be interviewed by either my RC or FFR?

You won't be interviewed by RC unless you visit and attend a briefing, or if there is some special situation I suppose. Your FFR will contact you, likely early in the process.

You may not be interviewed by a FFR. An interview isn't a requirement since not all candidates can be interviewed (not enough FFRs to interview all candidates).

I see. But even if I don't get an interview it doesn't mean that I'm not a competitive candidate right?

And I attended a RC briefing near where I live back in May 2016.

The RC 's do morning briefings at WP for candidates. That is what I was referring to.

Many cadets currently at WP did not have an interview.
The interview is not a requirement. There are simply not enough FFRs to interview all the competitive candidates. That is why there are no WCS points given for interviews.

Too many negatives - "don't," "doesn't," and "not" for me to clearly understand what you are asking.

Many competitive candidates don't get interviewed for various reasons.

I am an FFR and for me, when a candidate contacts me I usually interview them. Have contacted your FFR? There is a search function in the admissions website that gives you your FFR, if there is one. https://candidate.usma.edu/find_ff.cfm

My cadet wasn't interviewed by his FFR. And note my use of the word cadet. Don't sweat it if you are not interviewed.
