Hello,

So my Jr. year in High School began a while ago and I know I need to start looking for nominations but...how?
Do I just email my senator or Representative and ask or do I call for an appointment?
I really want to get into West Point and I know that I must have this so can anyone please help me?
Plus, I was looking at the West Point admission timeline and it says I have to contact my Field Force Representative. I have the same question concerning that.

First: start with reviewing the "stickys" on this site:
http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/index.php?forums/nominations.21/

...and this one:
http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/index.php?forums/military-academy-usma.4/
and ESPECIALLY this one:
http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/index.php?threads/a-lot-of-admissions-information.26838/

Second: review the USMA admissions site thoroughly so that you will know what USMA is looking for before you even begin asking for a nom. If you do this, you will know who your FFR is. Yes, email or call him/her, but not before doing the above.

Third: Google your two senators' and congressional rep's websites and search for a section on nominations. You should find a site that looks like this one.
https://denham.house.gov/serving-you/military-academy-nominations.

Good luck!
