I just received notification that I was medically qualified through DoDMERB. I was wondering the timeline between being told and my portal updating which still currently reads “scheduled in contract area.”

Congrats on the qualified status. Our son's portal updated within 48 hours, but that was back in early September. I would imagine admissions is very busy at this juncture and it might take a little while. But the part that matters is that DODMERB says you are medically qualified. The portal will catch up eventually.

DoDMERB does a file transfer with West Point daily. West Point Admissions controls the West Point portal.

I received a two remedial codes yesterday. One was for a pending disqualification, and my portal showed up "Disqualified" today.

Pretty quick turnaround.

I'm not worried though, I've got some medical records I'm gonna send to DoDMERB and hopefully that'll clear this up.
