Hello I just finished my year at Usmaps , if anyone has questions about my experience or anything at Usmaps I can probably answer it.
 
Hello! first of all congrats on finishing the year and I was wondering what tips do you have for CCBT and the academic year overall?
 
To be honest, CCBT is tough but it a taste of what CBT will be for you. So don’t take anything to heart while your getting smoked because they have to smoke you to make you more discipline. Try to be attentive to everything that is going on,try to be a good squad mate,and do not sleep during the briefs because if you do they whole battalion goes to the bubble for a smoking sessions.For school, I would say try to stay on top of your assignments because it not really like high school,it more workload and you have to complete it in a short time span. Enjoy this prep year don’t be too serious,like have fun learning about usma and also learning those subjects,some days will be tough but all you can do is just smile and get through it. I enjoyed the experience that Usmpas gave it me and I feel fully prepared for the academy.
 
What types of things did you enjoy receiving in packages from home? For parents what can we send that would be especially appreciated or useful?
 
During CCBT the things you can send are very limited.I am pretty sure you can only send letters and snack boxes. Those letter really help out a lot during CCBT because it shows your fellow CC that you are there when they need you.After CCBT cc’d are allowed to get any mail or any items that is delivered in their name which means you can send them anything you want after CCBT.
