USMAPS R-Day Haircut Payment

Hello,

I’m a candidate for USMAPS 2019 and R-Day is approaching fast. With that being said, it seems like everyday we are being provided new information and clarification for R-Day. Recently, I’ve heard that we need to get a buzz cut prior to R-Day or we should have $12 ready in cash to pay the barber on the day of.

Is this true? If so, are fades allowed with the buzz cut?
