I came to this thread solely to try to back up KP's professors. Considering the childish reaction though, I think I'll leave.

Wow. Disturbing (to say the least) that some of our nation's "best and brightest" use the word "gay" as an insult to another person, officer or otherwise. What a disappointment. I would think that an individual with the intelligence, leadership skills, and common sense necessary to be admitted to a U.S. Service Academy would be above making such ignorant statements.

Seriously ?!?!? You seriously think that using the term "gay" as an insult is something new. First off in these times depending on the tone and context it can be used as a general insult or a specific one.

Second I note you are new to the forum and so maybe you don't appreciate the depth of the rivalry but it's there and you can see it from the pictures on this thread if you read through it.

I'm not saying it's not a two sided rivalry and both sides don't take it further at times than is probably healthy but you're seriously going to be surprised at some Kings Pointers calling a Coastie "gay" while not even acknowledging that the strainers in the urinals might also have been in excessively poor taste?!?! and at least equally ignorant?

Seriously I vote we give it a rest and try and take this thread back to it's original topic even though it's not nearly as interesting as this mud slinging might be.
