Congratulations on ROTC at Notre Dame! Nice to have a great Option in place while we sit in Academy limbo. So glad my DS was accepted EA to USCGA or this waiting would be unbearable

Still havent heard...read in another thread that most appointments went out early in the week...does that mean there would be no more?

The way I see it DS will either need to make a really tough decision or the Academy will make it for him!

Similar case here...DS has been offered a "conditional" appointment...so, Yay-but it's not over 'till it's over....so, I'm still apprehensive ie..nutcase also. :screwy:
 
From East TN not sure if no news is good news or there’s just a delay due to slates, USNA acceptance from earlier appointed and NAPS/Foundation offers in the mix as well. Monday BGO and Admissions Counselor expected a decision by today. No call from MOC no TWE email and portal still shows under review.

Same- no go on medical waiver for USAFA but still alive with the Naval:)
 
Stupid question but reapplying means everything has to be re-done? Application, essays, recommendations, transcripts, SAT/ACT - do people take new tests? , nominations, BG interview, CFA, etc. maybe not DoDMERB? Do people submit the same essays? Do the recommendations from teachers get re-written by them?

yes. u can use same SAT/ACT - although it is encouraged to retake. DO NOT resubmit same essays.
 
I have a stupid question. I have everything completed besides the medical. I have not been reached out to by anyone. Yet I have reached out to USNA. They said I’ll have an email if seen as competitive. However, I have not received anything such as a rejection, wait list, or acceptance. I’m just confused is all and pursuing plan B currently.
 
OMG, my kid has received TWE from USNA and USMA so I should have packed my bags and moved to the ROTC section by now, yet I keep coming back to this thread and the appointment list to keep checking and hoping for the rest of you who still have not received word! Keep the faith and good luck!
