USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

My DS received his TWE this morning 😢. We were holding out hope, he had medical waiver review status. USNA asked him to explain a speeding ticket he had gotten (5 miles over) we thought that was a good sign and we had hope this would happen. Today we will be taking a break to decide which plan he really wants. Aeronautics Engineer / NROTC track and reapply, or Lawyer - JAG was kind of a dream for him. We have some good options with a judge in the family he has an open door in the law world. Either way, he has grown as all of these fine young people have I’m sure and is learning these are stepping stones to their future.

So the pending waiver was for a speeding ticket?

April 15th was never a "deadline", as has been beaten like a dead horse. Many universities have extended timelines this year- USNA already did so with extending the application deadline to the end of February. I would also assume the mission is fitting out a complete class, not a known flexible decision date.
 
So pretty new to this forum stuff . Do things happened on the weekend....(TWEs BFEs waitlisting etc.) Or should we just expect it will be crickets until Monday?

....that was extended by one month. An application deadline of February 28th, instead of January 1st.

Sometimes, missions need to adjust. After going through this last year at USNA, with all the exterior, UNPRECEDENTED, ever changing forces at play, this has never been more evident.

I applaud them for being at the point they are, managing all the uncontrollables at play. Commendable effort. If I was a betting person, I would bet y’all will know next week.
