USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

I can’t imagine this would be an issue. But our landline no longer works. The MOC we definitely use another number, correct?
(I’m hoping they would use cell numbers because that is all we are using now.)

My DS got the MOC call while he was at school and in accordance with class rules (but against my advice), he didn’t have his phone on him. The MOC himself left a voicemail and then called and got my husband, who called me, who called the school to pull DS out of class to return the call. I would assume that any MOC (or a staffer) would leave a voicemail and make follow-up calls to the candidate and/or parents.

Anything is possible! And having a fantastic plan A- is keeping me going right now too. There’s no way I could complain about doing 4 years in Army ROTC at the University of South Carolina, but we’ll just see what happens! Fly Navy!

Has anyone received TWE's in the last few days? I just hope that all of us are waiting for some type of appointment this far into the game! Staying alive!

I did notice that. It’s kind of strange. This is my third year through this process with my kids and in years past there was much more diversity of geography. We are from California and I do not see a lot of Californians, or west coasters generally.

I guess politics plays a big part in this. I could be way off but conservative leaning states have more positive attitude towards Military along with having the presence of bases. The higher the number of MOC representation in US congress, the more the number of appointees. Plus SAF is just a small dataset of the applicant/appointee pool.

I don't think anyone assumes or implies that this forum is a representative sample especially when you start digging into variables such as which state. That math is not straight forward to begin with, making it impossible to infer anything from participation on this forum.
