I am a male applying to the USNA class of 2024 and I passed my CFA, but I am wondering what that means, why is it just pass or fail? I am still training to improve my score, I am a bit concerned that passing isn't enough for the CFA.

It is pass/fail. If you passed, don't worry about it. Move on and get a nomination.

It is pass/fail. Can you do better? Do you think you are a low pass or near max? If you think you are barely passing in a few events, train and retake it. If they are near max, move on.

I took the CFA at NASS a month ago and my squad leader submitted my results. The CFA pops up on my USNA application portal as well. If I haven't heard any more than this, is it safe to assume I passed?

Yeah, if you don't receive an email saying you failed, you're good. I emailed my BGO just to make sure.
