Congratulations on receiving a LOA!

When did you have everything on your application submitted including BGO interview / Nomination?
 
Did your letter list any specific contingencies? My DD's did not. Just said she needed to complete any incomplete items on her application by Feb 20, 2020, which is confusing because she doesn't have any that we're aware of and I wouldn't think they'd make a "decision" if it weren't complete????

Thank you! My application timeline span was pretty long as I did, unfortunately, procrastinate but had my CFA completed in July, BGO interview in early December, and finally finished my personal statement and pressed submit application at midnight on January 20th. My nomination was received by USNA on January 11th. I am very fortunate to have a status change within less than 3 weeks of submitting.

Thank you! My letter did not list any contingencies. If your DD is medically qualified on the DoDMERB portal and has a nomination, I believe an appointment should be coming soon. I was medically dq’d so I know exactly what my contingency is as everything is done for me as well.

no BFE yet (she got appt on 1/28) - my DD accepted by email the day she got the appointment letter in her portal- she got an email 24 hours later from the admission office giving her the next steps -

Her LOA told her she needed a nomination and to get through Medical - she needed a waiver - your letter is confusing - but again without seeing it its hard to say - when you can PM me feel free and we can compare letters......
 
Keep those cards and letters coming! USNA is rolling now after a late start due to IT challenge.

Yes, she has a nom. She is also listed as qualified medically and her CFA was completed in December. She was asked to complete a body composition form earlier last week, which she did immediately, and USNA acknowledged receipt the following day. Maybe that's it. She was close to the max weight for her height when she went for her DodMERB physical. She was nearly 20 lbs lighter when she was re-checked last week, and 7 pts under the body fat standard for females, so maybe it just hasn't been reviewed yet.
