If people feel the need to add LOA, they can.
One of the things we noticed last year was the sporadic appearance of LOAs of the “usual type” - with conditions - early in the cycle. Later in the cycle, LOAs were popping up everywhere, essentially to assure people their appointments were on the way. It seemed to be an auto-function of the CRM platform.
WRT LOAs, my personal opinion is the data is skewed. Proactive candidates and parents who are prowling the internet for pro tips and insights find this site, and there might well be a correlation to LOAs given to a population with forward-leaning approaches to their endeavors.
The majority of midshipmen do not receive an LOA, at least the early type with conditions attached.
The point of this thread is celebrating actual offers of appointment, seeing what types of noms are happening, guessing at the waves/wavelets of appointments from the historically 10%~ish reporting rate here, watching the timeline roll out.
I’ve kept the suggested format simple. If posters want to share more for whatever reason compels them, with a cautionary note that the mosaic theory of intelligence works here like it does everywhere else and anonymity is potentially shredded, they can certainly do so.
