Good morning all,
I am a current class of 2025 applicant to USNA. I have a letter of assurance which showed up in my portal in late December. I am missing only a nomination and did not get one from my MOCs or congresswoman. I joined my JROTC unit in the second semester of my senior year and met with my senior instructor to send in the forms. The form have been sent in and received by USNA. However, I have heard back that they will need to review the JROTC nomination and how they may be able to process it.
Does anyone happen to know USNA's requirements to receive a JROTC nomination? and if I will be able to qualify for the nomination? I saw on USNA's nomination page with only one specific requirement that the student must currently be a part of the JROTC unit which I am.
I also forgot to add that I have known my Senior JROTC instructor since my freshman year and have developed a very good relationship with him. He wrote and attached a strong recommendation letter with my JROTC nomination application if that maybe changes anything.
