My daughter is having a difficult time with the USNA portal. She has a majority of the items in, but she does have 1 or 2 things pending that she is trying to submit but is having a difficult time with the portal. She has contacted several individuals but is not getting a response on what to do. Any suggestions?

Which ones?

BGO Interview
Medical Qualification Exam
Personal Data Record
Candidate Fitness Assessment
Candidate Activities Record
Candidate Academic Information
English Teacher Recommendation
Math Teacher Recommendation
High School Transcript
College Transcript
Commanding Officer Recommendation
Official Test Scores (ACT & SAT)
Nominations

Has she contacted her Admissions Counselor? The Name and EMail address is third from the bottom of the Candidate Information System ("Portal") page.

She is having a problem with the Candidate activities record. She took the fitness assessment at Summer seminar but got better scores with USAFA so she wants to submit the CFA scores from USAFA to USNA and trying to figure out how to send that. USNA does not show they received her official HS transcripts and is wondering if it should be via mail or digitally since USNA is not showing they did not receive the ones the school show they submitted. As for the medical exam, USAFA shows complete, but not sure if the USNA knows if the medical exam is complete or not.

She is having a problem with the Candidate activities record...
The Candidate Activities Record is one of those fill in the blanks questionnaires for activities, accomplishments, sports, etc. What's the problem, specifically?

The Candidate Fitness Assesment (CFA) can be updated, but she will have to ask her Admissions Counselor to do help get that ball rolling. The Admissions Counselor can "reset" the EMail field for her (in the portal) and all she will have to do is input the email address of her contact at USAFA. The USAFA contact will receive an automated email asking them to upload the CFA scores. She could also ask her Admissions Counselor if they (USNA) already have digital access to the USAFA updated scores. I don't think that they do, but it's worth asking the question.

Her High School transcript needs to be sent directly from her high school. USNA will not accept H.S. transcripts through third-party outfits (like Parchment.com).
Transcripts should include the candidate number and be mailed to the following address: Office of Admissions 52 King George Street Annapolis, MD 21402.
If she can verify that the school already did this, she should kindly ask them to send it again.

Your DD will need to login to her DoDMERB account to see if her medical record is complete and there are no remedials required. The USNA portal can often take impossibly long to change, even after you already know that the medical exam is good. Patience is called for here. I know, easy for me to say. :)

DS transcript took over 6 weeks to appear in the portal. schools send it by snailmail and I believe a person has to open each one and manually enter it into the portal so its a slow process. if you call the academy about it they will just tell you to keep checking back,

Thank you so much for your assistance on answering all of these questions. I know she has tried several avenues on trying to get some answers but has not heard back, including her B & G officer. I came across this forum and thought I would see what I could find out to assist. She is adamant on doing everything herself, but as a parent, it's hard to sit back and do nothing when they are at a stand still on something. :)

Thanks again!
