Should I fill out the preliminary application right now or wait until I take the SAT in May? Also, how much does it matter when I fill it out? I know on their website they say it's not a "first come first serve" but still, is it even moderately that way? Thanks đź‘Ť

Wasn't this same question asked about a week ago ?
It can't hurt to fill out the preliminary app.

If you applied to summer seminar that will count as your preliminary application. If not, apply as soon as you feel able. The preliminary application instructions state "Our selections are made on a rolling basis - they are not “first come, first served.” However, the earlier a student applies, a review of the application can be completed earlier in the cycle".
Are you from Oregon by any chance?

Thanks for the advice, and I'm not from Oregon. I chose this username because the USS Oregon was one of Fleet Admiral Leahy's first ships to cruise in. When it made the long trip around South America to Cuba during Spanish-American War, it sort of reinforced Theodore's thought that we needed a canal in Central America. I don't know why I like that story though haha
