Of course, this may definitely not be true for this year and it may have not been a pattern for the previous years. Sadly I don't work for USNA so I don't have any way of knowing. I do know in the past they have tried to stick to their deadlines, as much as humanly possible. As a sidenote, I admit to looking at job openings at USNA, it's a dream to work there someday. I would happily do laundry to be around MIDN all the time. :) I know, I'm weird.

It usually takes them 1-2 days to respond, and if you don't get accepted, don't feel discouraged because it won't determine your chances of getting into the academy when you apply and it's an outreach program meaning they usually target students in underrepresented geographical areas. Don't stress out too much and you will know your official status by April 15th, and apply to USNA SS and boys/girls state Junior year. Don't lose hope and I hope to see you there!

Hello all,
I sent an email and got a response saying:
"Thank you for your email. All applicants will be notified of their status via email."

So I guess may be I didn't miss it and will know by tomorrow 🤞

Another issue is NY Schools will only close by end of june so probably There'll be final exam dates that may conflict with STEM dates.. 😔

Either way, goodluck to all of you. If not this year, will see you all for SS next year or at least I'll try 🙂

There are parents who are BGOs… with no military background.
 
I haven't heard anything yet still hoping to get something. Last year I didn't get my acceptance email until May 3rd so that may be what's happening again I'm not sure but the day is still young.
 
Hi, we’re waiting too and joined the live chat today - they said unfortunately due to technical difficulties, Summer STEM notifications are delayed and will be issued in the coming weeks (although some might have still heard today). There wasn’t any addtl info provided. By chance, upon submission, did everyone receive confirmation emails that their applications were received?
