I am currently a college freshman at Wake Forest University who received a TWE on Monday. I am now trying to find ways to better my chances for a second go at an appointment. I am skeptically eyeing a spot in the reserves so I can be eligible for a SECNAV nom. I was wondering if any BGOs or other knowledgeable parties had past insights on the success of such a move. Would volunteering at senators' offices be a more productive use of the summer? (I didn't get an interview from either of them last cycle)
