does anyone have any info. on what ports this ship hits and any DS OR DD who have sailed on this ship. thank you

Usually these ships are assigned to a home port from which they work out of refueling/replenishing Navy ships. They tend to not have a schedule like typical tankers and cargo ships.

Hopefully someone here has some recent info for this ship for you.

My DS is not on that particular replenishment ship, but currently on another, USNS Kaiser. So you can get an idea of what he may experience: their ship was stationed for @6 weeks in Pearl Harbor and then @ two months in San Diego. Typically, as noted above, they leave port on Tuesday and return Friday afternoons. During that time, they make uprep runs out in the Pacific. The remainder of the week is spent working on the ship with Sundays off. He has loved it.

I was personally on the USNS Andrew J Higgins (T-AO-190) She was put into mothballs in 95 or 96. But I digress. My ship was home ported out of Oakland CA. However from around the time of its Commissioning till about a year before De-com she was "forward Deployed" to Asia PAC serving what was then the 6th fleet out of Yokosuka Japan. We went to Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Manila, Busan, and Pearl Harbor to name a few. Most of our refueling time was spent in Fukuoka Japan (very small base not much to do there however Nagasaki is not far if you want to go see it)took a full day to top off the tanks. But I think the PAx is in the Atlantic so i am not sure about where they will go.
