USSF Interview Request

I submitted the AFROTC application sometime in November and opted in for both USAF and USSF. (Did not meet deadline for first board). I received a USSF interview but I was unable to film it in time and therefore I thought I was dropped from the USSF option (removed from my WINGS portal). I received a new USSF interview request requesting me to submit by the 17th. Does anyone know if this is an error on their part? I'd assume that since the first one wasn't fulfilled I would be dropped entirely.

Different timeline, but same here. I wasn't expecting the invite for the interview. My thinking is the roster isn't as deep as they may have hoped. The self recording definitely was a huge turn off for me. Opted out of the first round.
