UT Austin - NROTC

DS visited the NROTC unit and shadowed a sophomore mid last Friday - had an absolute blast. Was impressed with all, especially the CO, and the engineering professors. While we are still waiting on a possible appointment, UT Austin just shot up to #1 top slot for Plan B, and even trending toward Plan A over USNA. Loved the unit and the city.

I'm opening this thread as a placeholder for UT Austin NRTOC related matters. Other similarly situated parents, students, alumni, wanting to share/exchange information.

Just curious if any other students have been accepted into UT Austin. DS was accepted and will attend in the Fall.

We agree. Son met with NRTOC unit and toured the campus and cant wait to attend in the fall!
