Don't hold your breath. Slates aren't due until 1/31 so it will likely be late Jan or even early Feb before many folks hear about nominations.
Congratulations! Who did you hear from?Got the good news today!
Heard from Senator Warner and it wasn't good news. 2 down 1 to go, my chances are not looking good.
Thanks! District 10 Comstock. I feel the interview did not go well so I was hoping for a senator nom. If WP wants me, and that might be a big if, will they find a nomination for me?
Has anyone heard back from Congressman Brat (VA-07)?
Congrats dtd!Hi Padre. My DS received a nom via a letter from our MOC on December 19th; it was dated December 15th. It showed up in his portal a few days later. We are VA-11.
Thanks Padre. Hope you get good news soon as well. We know he still needs the appointment (and the waiting is stressful) but getting the nomination news was nice as we head to Annapolis to attend the Military Bowl on Monday.Congrats dtd!
Same district as you, I guess we're competing for the same spot. Best of luck, maybe we'll meet in person if we both get it! And if you're a very competitive candidate but you don't get the nomination, there's a chance you'll get an AOG scholarship and go to West Point after a year of prep school. One of my friends got an AOG from our district two years ago and is now at WP. There's always hope if you don't get the nomination. Thanks! District 10 Comstock.
