I just completed my sophomore year of college at an engineering school, so I have taken Calculus 1,2,3, Diff EQ, Physics 1,2, Chemistry 1,2, Statics, and Dynamics. I am hoping to test out of at least Physics, Chemistry, and all Calculus courses. I was wondering if people know any good study books they suggest to prepare for these exams? Also, are these exams online before arriving, because I have seen some comments that they are and some that they are not. Thank you!

Last year, Algebra through Calculus math tests were online (using Blackboard) before plebe summer. Calc 3, Chemistry, and Physics (and English and some language) tests were in person over plebe summer, but for some of them you had to indicate interest before the summer. I don't know anyone who took a Diff EQ test over the summer, but I do know someone who validated by taking the fall semester final, so I'm sure the math department will work with you if you want to validate that as well.

Based on your account name and question, I'm assuming you're an incoming plebe. I don't have any information specific to this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if testing procedures look different than years past. I'm sure you'll get the information you need when you need it. Just be sure to read everything in the PTR package thoroughly, as well as all of the pages in Blackboard when you get access to that.

I recommend studying from the notes you made and used when you took the class. It also might not hurt to have a few key review sheets mailed to you in case you don't take tests until later a few weeks in and are worried about remembering some material. I vividly remember my squad leader told me the night before that the Calc 3 test was the next day, and I fell asleep trying desperately to recall how to find a gradient.
