Is there a way to verify that mail has been received at the USCG? (We were not smart enough to consider certified mail.) I am sure the admissions staff is inundated with both applications and this type of inquiry. We are also aware it may take a couple of weeks before the online apps are updated. Any suggestions?? Thanks

As they process the papers you send in on your application, your USCGA homepage should gray out the items on your "Lack List." If the item wasn't grayed out within a normal time period, I just called Admissions and they were more than happy to help (and busy :D).

Thanks.... we figured there would be a "lag" between materials received and items "grayed out" on the app. Just got a little nervous trusting the US post. Anyone have any experience with "Docufide"? Indicated they mailed transcripts (1) month ago and the app has not been updated.

Don't be too concerned at this point if your items are not "greyed" out. It may take a couple of weeks for a document to be fully processed by CGA.

Don't worry too much, DS didn't send his " certified mail" and admissions recieved them without any problems! Hang in there and best wishes!
