Verizon military discount

Hey, I'm a youngster here at USNA. Does anybody have any experience on utilizing Verizon's military discount as somebody on an account plan (not actually the account owner). It could help save my parents money, but not really sure how to transfer an account or if it's feasible.
 
I actually did this as a 1/C. Head over to the local Verizon store and they should be able to take care of you. Make sure to bring your CAC. They’ll send paperwork off to somewhere for verification and after it’s verified, the discount will be applied.
 
I have been getting this deal for years. You used to have to show your DD214, but I think it's all internet based now with ID.me.

For a different carrier, but I had to authorize DS as another account "owner". Then, he could show his CAC or LES or something and get the discount for the plan.

For those using LES, is there anything on there that should be redacted before providing? I havent seen one to know what numbers/IDs are on it.

Which carrier?
 
Either Sprint or T-Mobile. Cant recall if it was pre or post merge. I think T-Mobile.

Check for SSN and other personal data not necessary for the purpose of demonstrating military status for this purpose.
