I don't usually participate in the national "Thank You For your Service" day festivities but today put up on FB a tribute to my dad who did nine years in the AF and I posted his pic on here in another thread. I also paid tribute to my wife who was a corpsman for 13 years and then got out. I wanted her to stay in but she saw the value in getting out and taking care of our two kids vs the military check and monthly retirement income after twenty years. Knowing my two grown kids is knowing that she made the right decisions, so happy veterans day to my wife.
