The "hub" was stationed at Wright-Patt twice, albeit once for his Master's program and the second to help defend the F-22 before congress for three years (it's testing program).

Anyhoo, while I think the prospect of a "gay" bomb is ridiculous, there are lots of buildings there with labs and you really never know what they're doing.
