Hey guys,

I was looking to see if anyone had personal experiences with the VTCC that they would like to share. I understand that this is quite broad but I'd like to see if I can get any info that isn't on the website or brochures like how well did the VTCC prepare you to be an officer? Would you wish you'd rather gone to a complete military school like VMI? Or did you enjoy the mix? Any stories or anything at all is appreciated.

Thank you

Have you used the search function on this site? Recommend, that you plug in VTCC and see what pops up and go from there. Might be able to ask some specific follow up questions.

I did not attend VTCC, but I can tell you those that I served with from VTCC in the Marine Corps were great officers. As many will tell you the best school is the school that suits you best. The school that prepares you best to be an officer is up to you. You can go to any school in the country, but unless you want to develop yourself, push yourself, be proactive in learning/training then it doesn't matter. The best officers are the ones who continually seek to improve themselves, listen, work hard. They come from all commissioning sources. A school that you enjoy, are comfortable at, and helps you thrive is the school that will prepare you best.
