Vision requirements for Coast Guard?

Has anyone gotten accepted with 20/400 uncorrected vision? Just trying to understand if this would prevent admission? Seems strange if would prevent given with surgery most can be corrected to 20/20.

DD was DoDMERB DQ'ed for 20/400 vision without corrective lens, 100% correctable to 20/20 with lenses, but she received a waiver pretty quickly, maybe within two weeks or so. It seemed fairly routine according to others.
