Visiting USAFA as a candidate?

I went to the informational meeting a few months ago. I asked this question-when is the best time to visit? They said anytime.

But my question still remains...when is the best time to visit? Is there something similar to Candidate Visitation Weekend at the Naval Academy at USAFA? Does anyone have specific dates the Academy recommends?

Before Recognition is the better time, in my opinion. You'll actually get to see how most of 4 dig year is. Post Recognition is nice, but you don't get to see the 4 degree training system in full effect.

This year recognition training begins on the 15th of March 2012. Just in case you were wondering.
