VMI acceptance package

Hello all,
Hope you guys had a good holiday! Just a quick question in regards to filling out the medical check up part of the packet. If I have been medically qualified by DODMERB, can I just send in the DODMERB letter rather than having another check up by my own doctor? Thanks.
 
No- If memory serves me correctly from a few years ago when my son was in that same situation, they are different physicals and you probably will have to get the TBT and probably some immunizations performed as well.

Unfortunately no, the package states that DoDMERB can not be substituted for the medical they are requesting.
 
Nope, but the VMI physical exam was very simple. Doctor pretty much just made sure I could physically handle the Ratline and signed off!
