Greetings from Hawaii! Just received a text w/ a picture from #3. He received the BFE from VMI today. <3 Heart bursting for him--I am sad to be so far from home when he received such awesome news. Thanks to all for the suggestion to go down for the interview (and to the ROTC PMS who suggested that he meet with Admissions before taking the long drive home.)

There are a few Facebook pages for you. Look for "Kadet Life" and "VMI Family - Parents, Corps, Alumni, and Friends".

There is also a page for your parents called "VMI Rat Mass 2018+3 Parent Page", which is strictly for parents only.

After much consideration and thought, I have decided to attend VMI next fall as part of the rat mass 2018+3. I was previously convinced that the Naval Academy was the place for me, but I have since re-evaluated. VMI seems like a perfect fit for me. I am unbelievably excited for the fall!!!!

Hopeful, CONGRATS! Best advice: get physically fit and get mentally ready for the toughest experience you'll ever love! ...from what I understand, there's nothing else out there like it!
