"The Class of 2018 is the largest graduating class in VMI history, noted Gen. J.H. Binford Peay III ’62, in his remarks. Altogether, 373 graduates crossed the stage earlier today [16 May], with 355 of those representing the Class of 2018. This year’s graduates came from 37 states and four foreign countries. International studies was the major with the highest number of graduates, at 61, while civil engineering had the second highest, at 52.

More than 220 men and women from the class were commissioned into the armed services the day before graduation or will be over the summer, marking a commissioning rate of 60 percent for the Class of 2018."

Rough numbers for VMI Class of 2018 by Service (couldn't find published stats so I counted heads from the video):

Army: 117
USAF: 44
USMC: 28
USN: 22
Total: 211

An additional ~9 to be commissioned post graduation = 220
