VMI Ranked #9 Liberal Arts College in the Nation -- Money Magazine

Awesome that VMI (#9) and Washington & Lee (#1) both made the top 10 list. The little town of Lexington VA might put Cambridge MA (Harvard and MIT) on the defensive....
I guess you could group them as Virginia Ivys. UVA, William and Mary, and others included.

I am not a VMI grad. My DS will be.

I’m glad to see the VMI curriculum recognized. I do think they do it right. There is no grade inflation.

From what I have observed the quality of VMI is very well known and respected in Virginia, North Carolina, and other parts of the South. Articles like this help spread the word.

From my active duty experience (I’ve been retired now over a decade) the VMI grads (as well as the other SMC grads) were well respected.

VMI does it right, indeed. It's a very unique place unlike anything out there today; good to see them finally getting some of the recognition they deserve. From my experience, VMI isn't the kind of school that advertises itself!
