My DS uses a safe/strong box to store his laptop and other valuables. You can get them off of Amazon. Walmart also has them: https://www.walmart.com/ip/SentrySafe/35255022

I think it is one of the things on the list in the "New Cadet Handbook" -- they need this during the regular year. While there is an honor code among the cadets, not everyone with access to the barracks is a cadet.
