VMI's loss is Citadel's gain

well since you bring it up and want to inject clear disinformation and twist facts; 12 seniors on this past years squad and not all of them were 5th years so obviously "20 of whom play football" isn't accurate. If even half were out of the 114 players in the program I think that still qualifies as 'a handful'. I had somehow assumed this board was all about civil discussion and sharing of information but I may have been mistaken.
It's ok to disagree--but using terms like "vile civilians" then talking about civility doesn't quite add up...
This is still a civil conversation, but please understand I'm not going to stand by and let disinformation pass. Painting VMI and Citadel with the same brush today is inaccurate. And now you are splitting hairs over what a "handful" is--it really doesn't matter. Bottom line: Citadel has civilians on its sports teams who are sometimes transfers, sometimes 5th year students, and sometimes folks who are enrolled in civilian programs and just want to play sports. The Citadel also has online degrees--win or lose, these examples make the school far different from VMI--period.

majstlo ---- just try to ignore.... it only encourages more of the same when you engage... not worth it....
I have only been here a short period as I found the board way late in the scheme of things but overall it is a great board!!! Don't judge by a handful or even one :)

yeah, some comments aren't worthy of response; and he couldn't even catch my tongue in cheek reference to the "vile" civilians.

The two schools have major differences--that's it--Interesting how those differences upset certain folks... And just to be clear, most everyone on this forum caught your reference... IMO, it was a poor one.
