    Hey all,

How do cadets participate in voting? Do they get a ballot in the mail from their home district? Would they register in New York since most of their four years are spent there?

Absentee ballots. FVAP.org. There'll be a voting assistance officer to help.

It's very uninvolved. I would go to my county Board of Elections in August or September and request an absentee ballot be mailed to my cadet. It would show up at the appropriate time, he voted, and put it back in the mail. I could call later and make sure it arrived back at the BofE safely.
