Ok so I submitted the VP nomination earlier today and I got the message of:

Thank you for your Military Academy application. Results of this year's nomination process will be announced March of next year.

The deadline for the VP nomination is January 31st (Today! Yes I know, please spare the criticism that I deserve). Does this mean that I am too late and that the VP form is not being considered for the class of 2018, but class of 2019 instead??? That's not what I want! Anyone know anything about this? Kinda panicked.
 
Yes I do, but I put off the VP nomination because its such a slim chance of getting one. I know, I know, I should have submitted it earlier. But I'm just wondering if somehow the deadline was January 30th at midnight and it had to be before January 31st, therefore making my submission inelligible.

I don't know this, but since nominations were due to the Academies today, then yes, I expect you missed the deadline.
 
It said the same thing to me and I finished applying for it three weeks ago. The reason it says this is because the form is still written as if you are applying in 2013 (as that is when the majority of the application window sits). You should be okay.

The exact wording of the email I received (received January 6th, 2014) is as follows:

"Dear Applicant

Thank you for your Military Academy application Results of this year's
nomination process will be announced March of next year.

Best of luck,

- The Military Academy Nomination Team
"

I think you made the deadline. Next year's application wouldn't be open right after January 31st, anyways.
 
Don't worry about it. It's just a typo that has been on the site as far ago as mid-December. Not very professional to say the least.
