Does anyone know when exactly USNA Vp nomination decisions are made? I have an LOA but failed to get a congressional nomination, my BGO said the best chance is a VP nomination and it isn't a long shot for someone in my situation. Is he right? Are there any other possible ways of getting a nomination?

Nobody knows. There is no final timing of when VP Noms are fines It’s a puzzle. Right now they could have names slated there who move once the NWL is finalized or waivers are completed. This could mean one or more spots open. They could all be slotted and not move. No one knows where they will get slated until the puzzle is completed.

Last year DS received a VP Nomination on 14 April to USAFA that fulfilled an LOA...he'd already committed to USNA at that point, and turned down a nom from our Senator, but give USAFA credit for trying right up to the end.
