vp nomination?

Hello,
I am a senior in high school, who received an LOA from USNA, but no nominations from my MOC's. USCGA is my plan b, for I already have a full appointment. Although I don't have too much hope, I don't want to give up until I receive my TWE from USNA. I was just wondering if anyone got any updates regarding vp nominations? Thank you in advance.

I checked my USAFA portal today and I saw this update in my portal. I used to have a red 'X' mark next to the checklist item "Nomination Received" ever since I submitted my application to the last time I checked my portal (probably less than a week ago), so I saw this today and was in shock.

However, I do not know whether this means that USAFA has received my application for the VP Nomination or that I actually received one of the 10 Vice Presidential Nominations that USAFA decides on.

Would someone mind providing insight on this, please, for both me and @popp1227@?

This means you've received a VP nomination. If you got one I would expect to get an appointment soon, they don't give them out like candy
 
Thank you @moho Do you happen to know when USAFA and other SAs stop offering appointments to candidates? This might sound like a silly question, but do you know if they continue to hand them out even after May 1st, the national college commitment deadline?
