Has anyone ever been approved by DoDmerb for a VSD?
Recently got a remedial code R.100 asking for more information about the surgury and recent echocardiograms
Just wondering if anyone else has been through this process with a VSD recently.
 
So long as the recent (within the past year) echo is normal, I think you’ve got a good chance of getting qualified.
 
A spontaneously closed VSD (I.e. no surgery) is what got me DQd by USAFA and USCGA many moons ago. USNA and USMMA waived it. I would hope they’ve learned over the last 20 years that it isn’t a big deal.
