Vtech vs Regular College

I was wondering what would be better for a second time applicant to the USMA. Would you have a better chance for an appointment if you attend a Senior Military College like VTech on ROTC, or would it be better to attend a college like George Washington or Wake Forest and do ROTC there. Or does it not matter as long as you participate in ROTC and have a high gpa/activities? Thank you!

It does not matter. Do well in school and take a course schedule that resembles the courses taken at the SA. Pick the school that is best for you. You may be there 4 years.
Outstanding advice! Especially selecting the right courses. Very good advice!

This is something I've been struggling with majorly... Should I go to one school that has my major and the sport I want to play, or the school that sends more kids to USNA after a year.... Decisions decisions

That's an easy one. Go the the school that has your major. You may find out it is the best school for you and you will not re-apply to the SA.

Concur, go to the school with your major and sport. If you do well enough the school won't matter for your reapplication. If you don't get the BFE, talk to your BGO on where to improve, mirror a Plebe like schedule and crush your grades, sports and have some fun. The school you enjoy the most is where you will thrive and set you for success to either reapply for USNA or stay there for 4 years.
