Wait list

Has anyone been wait listed yet? I have a feeling my DS might be. How do they take candidates off the wait list? Do they do it by major, home state, demographics?

What I remember from CFAD is that they take candidates off the waitlist the same way they offer appointments - which puzzle piece is going to fit into the class the best. They said they do not take #1, #2, etc.

Think of the wait list as more of an alternate pool. As slots open up admissions will do another board or two as needed to fill in the slots.

I doubt anyone has been wait listed during RA to date. They waited until final day to defer individuals during EA. TWE will probably not be received until 1 April.
