Well Said
profsparrow-My DS was also 'turned down' this year for USNA but was competitive to the end. I am extremely proud of him and others like him who have weathered this rigorous process where the selection of one over the other maybe hinders on a point more on an SAT, a waiver, a community project. Who really knows? All I know is that this is the process, and we accept it and move forward! Our DS will reapply if he feels that USNA is still his dream place to attain his goals, in a year
Until then, he will accept his appointment at another academy and start the process of becoming the man and officer we know he will be!!
Good Luck everyone and stay positive
