Because trend analysis gives some measure of hope no matter how unreliable, hope seems a Good Friday thing for today. In March 2017, the 2021 USNA appointment thread contained 28 reported appointments and this thread in March (to date, the morning of the 30th) there have only been 15 reported appointments/1 over half the number, the very unreliable conclusion is that there are a significant number of appointments coming over the next two weeks. So too in the 2021 appointment thread, there were six appointments reported between April 1 and 14 with 3 reported between April 15 and 30. Based on this historical trend of data that is wholly unreliable to predict this year's appointment flow, and assuming that 10% of all appointments are reported on a consistent basis year-over-year, the difference between March plus April appointments 2021 totaling 38 reported appointments as compared to March (to date) plus yet to be decided April 2018 totaling 15 reported appointments, there remains 380-150 = 230 appointments to be made in the next two weeks, 23 of which would be reported on the 2022 Appointment Thread. Given the trend analysis is based on one year, the data assumes consistent year to year reporting, the estimated 230 appointments over the next two weeks should be considered wholly based on conjecture and unreliable data. Yet, perhaps on this Good Friday (and I sincerely hope for all remaining CPRs it turns into a Great Friday!) hope is something to hold onto. Best wishes to all.

If this a Good Friday CPR roll-call...then DS is still waiting in OK-01 with three Noms (Congressional, Senatorial, and NROTC). Good "hope" to all "still in the game"!

Wow! Thanks for that detailed report. That gives us hope.

Next two weeks should be interesting. I noticed that there were not as many appointments in March compared to last year this time. Still CPR in WI. Still waiting on NROTC, too.

I have an LOA and I have my nomination and just received my medical waiver this Tuesday. How long does it usually take for USNA admissions to process the fully qualified offer?

In the case of my DS, after the condition of his Conditional Offer of Appointment (LOA) had been met, six (6) calendar days elapsed before he received his Offer of Appointment.
So possibly Monday?

At this stage of the game is it to late to update senior accomplishments? My DS added another varsity letter in a new sport with an individual award for Most Heart, approximately 20+ hours of free tutoring, and named captain of two academic teams this spring. I know it’s just a matter of time since he wasn’t the principal nom for our district but since there hasn’t been a TWE we’re still hoping and looking for anything that can make a difference.

My DS received the call from our MOC yesterday, NC-02. He was CPR since last fall. Will post next week after portal notification. Keep the faith! USMA and VT NROTC

I fear so. They are terrific accomplishments, but probably not going to be a difference maker. Also, deadlines have to be meaningful, or folks would continue to barrage Admissions.

Also, failing to obtain the principal nom is not the kiss of death. You have to hope the principal isn't 3Q or that you will do well in the National Pool. But it's definitely possible.

Thanks for the reply and advice. I hear ya on the deadlines, I can only imagine the amount of info they have to go through. If it doesn’t work out for DS this year he can always add it to next years application.

Unfortunately the principal is most likely 3Q’ed since he is a college re-applicant and would have been able to improve on previous application. I guess that leaves him with a slim chance but even then it’s still a chance and he’s thankful to still be in the running.

Our district's principle nominee was appointed to the Naval Academy back in February, however he declined the offer. Does that mean I still have a chance? I am still CPR.
