waitlist

My son applied EA and was put on the waitlist. He has been accepted in everyother school he has applied to but CGA is still his first choice. We are trying to gauge the possibility of actually getting into CGA. Does anyone have statistics on the wait list (how many people we were offered slots, how may accepted etc.) Thanks

Within that thread, Objee's comment about the wait list:

47 EA applicants were offered a spot on the wait list for the Class of 2016 and about 25 EA applicants were offered a spot on the wait list for CGAS appointments.

I don't know how many are usually are taken from the waitlist (more a question for Objee or Luigi) but one positive aspect for your son this year is the change in the waitlist process. In the past, ALL EA applicants not offered an appointment were put on the waitlist which gave too many applicants false hope. This year only students "on the bubble" are on the list. My advice is to have your DS contact his AO and keep updating his file. I believe that students were taken from the waitlist as late as June last year!

Thanks, my son has updated is application with 2nd quater grades and contacted his AO. Anymore and it could become annoying.
