Waitlisted for STEM

Waitlisted today as well, again. Has anyone on this forum been selected (or know of someone who has) from the waitlist?
 
I know people who have been selected off of the waitlist just found it strange we got 2 emails

How many and do you know which sessions? Thought I received an update on my status today but it was another waitlist email, like everyone else :-(
 
I've seen a bunch but I was told they send out another email to remind those who want to drop so they can move forward. I hope everyone who doesn't want to be on the waitlist calls and has themselves removed.. Go Navy!!
 
We just received a 2nd acceptance email along with our confirmation one. I emailed back and asked them to pass the 2nd one to someone on the wait list for week 1.

Saw this and just checked my email. I got the email one minute ago.
I didn't get accepted :-(
It ended with "**Please note, we do not accept waitlist requests. The waitlist has been pre-determined by our office and all waitlisted students have been notified of their status*"
Everyone should have heard by now.
 
Same rejection e-mail here today. I know that everyone will still have a great summer! And for those young enough - apply again next year! :)
 
My application was pretty weak, but during the five months between January and May a lot has happened. I had to edit my application twice to add more things. It wasn't everything either... for example, I attended a STEM challenge on April 29 and won second place. That would have been a great addition to my app but I don't think it was practical to add it by then. A lot has happened since January and my app would have been stronger. Doesn't matter now anyway :confused:
I guess now next year's application will be a lot better. Will be looking forward to January again. Have a great summer everyone.
 
No email for us the last one we got was saying my daughter was waitlisted..

The email was sent to my email first and a few minutes later my parent's. If you haven't already perhaps you should check both.
 
Does anyone know how many people are accepted into each session?
 
Email said they had 840 available spots and 5000 applicants, any reason why they would accept only 680 if that's accurate?
