Waitlisted

Based on my DS experience from last year. They do the main pull from wait list within the first two weeks of May then they ask those remaining if they still want to be on waitlist for the DODMERB DQ openings. The waitlist then officially closes in the first week of June - candidates not appointed will get an email stating it is closed.
What I cannot answer is whether post wait list close might a candidate get a last minute call. It seems possible but also very unpredictable if it does happen.

It was explained to me that all of the paperwork and security stuff that must get done requires several weeks. That's why the myth of people waiting outside the gate on R-Day doesn't happen.
