Just wanted to thank Larry Mullen and everyone else who helped direct me and my son Nick thru the remedial/disqualification/waiver procees. We found out last Thursday that his waiver was approved!!! He will be joining the AFROTC detachment at Boston University on a very generous ROTC Scholarship in the fall. For those of you that are struggling thru the process...just keep pushing...we sent alot of supporting documentation to DODMERB to show that my son's bulging disc was resolved. In addition to the doctor's thorough evaluation we also sent newspaper clippings and photos that covered his athletic events from this spring.
