Well after an insane amount of confusion and stress my waiver is finally approved. I applied for OCS out of undergrad and there was alot of confusion about a prior service VA disability I had. I chose to pursue grad school and ROTC and I fought the VA for my records and documentation for years and got everything cleared up.

I was originally diagnosed with a bogus behavioral health issue. I fought the VA about it and actually go it re-evaluated and removed. I wrote personal statements and was evaluated by three different doctors just to ensure I had enough documentation. I finally heard today that my waiver was approved and I will be participating in the two year ROTC program while in grad school.

Beyond excited and happy. DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR WAIVERS! FIGHT!

That's GREAT news! Congrats, big time. Good for you for persevering! Very happy for you!

I love a good ending - or in this case a beginning - again.

I chuckled when I read that because most Marines I know, actually do have behavioral health issues. ;)
